We insist on respectful ground manners. They are gentle, stand still to mount,
cross water, open and close gates, load, stand tied quietly and are easy to clip
and shoe. Each of our horses has been used extensively, in a variety of
situations. Possessing a good rein, they are responsive to leg cues,
handle comfortably at a walk, trot and lope, know lead changes, will rate
themselves, and will stop or back-up when asked. They have been trained and used
in the arena as well as in rugged, rough, high desert country, mountain trails
